Do I need a Payment Processor?
Yes. Buyers pay sellers directly so all sellers are required to have a payment processor such as PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout, or Authorize.net. See our full list of integrated apps to see if your processor is integrated.
Can I use my own website/domain?
Yes. Your Content Shelf store can be added to an existing website residing on your own domain name. Just copy and paste the store widget code to your website and you'll be ready to start selling.
Do you charge transaction fees?
No. There are no transaction fees with any of our plans.
What currency do you bill in?
All Content Shelf plans are billed in U.S. dollars on a monthly basis.
Is Content Shelf Secure and PCI Compliant?
Yes. We are PCI Compliant and when processing credit card payments we process via secure HTTPS 256bit encryption (SSL).
Is there a contract?
No. Content Shelf is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel whenever you want.
How does the 30 Day Free Trial work?
When signing up for our any of our plans the first 30 days are free. To keep the account active just create a payment profile prior to the end of the trial.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrading and downgrading plans can be done any time after the free trial period. Call for adjustments if within the free trial period.
Can I buy more storage space?
Yes. Additional storage space can be added to any Premium Plan for $2 per GB per mth.
Do you charge for bandwidth?
Yes. If you use more than the plan allotment during your account cycle you will be billed .18 cents per GB.
What is your Refund Policy?
We do not offer refunds. We do however offer a fully functional 30 Day Free Trial for all of our plans.
When is phone support available?
Phone support is U.S. based. It's available M-F 9a-5p and SAT 10a-2p. All times are eastern.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no hidden fees. All of our fees are listed above, but remember that your payment processor (PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, etc.) will charge fees for your transactions.
Can I send marketing emails?
No. Content Shelf is not an email marketing service provider. We do however integrate with MailChimp, Constant Contact and others for email marketing services.
How do I cancel service?
Although we don't want to see any customer cancel, we understand. When submitting a support ticket choose Cancel Service. Once submitted the account will be cancelled, all content/data will be purged, and billing (if applicable) will cease.
What are Content Shelf In-App purchases?
Content Shelf offers two In-App purchases. Gift Card Tokens enable the sale and tracking of gift cards. Email Tokens provide mass email communications to buyers for Pre-Orders, Product Updates, and Subscription Updates.
Can I Stream Audio and Video?
Yes! We offer streaming of both pre-recorded and live content to any type of device including mobile devices.
Who owns my data?
You do. You can export/download any and all of your data and reports at any time while your account is in good standing.
