How to Integrate Authorize.net Payment Processing
This payment processing app allows buyers to pay you directly and permits both one time and recurring payments. This app is considered direct processing because the buyer makes the actual payment within the PCI/SSL Secure Checkout Page. After the payment is accepted the buyer will receive immediate confirmation of the order.
To Integrate the Authorize.net Payment Processing App click Sell (1) then choose the Payment Processing Apps (2) area.
Premium Plus account holders will need to choose the store they want to manage and click the Pencil (Edit) Icon.
Under the Credit Card Gateway drop down choose Authorize.net (AIM) (3).
The following fields will need to be populated within information from your Authorize.net Dashboard as outlined below.
- API Login ID
- Transaction Key
Authorize.net supports recurring payments with the use of the Customer Information Manager (CIM). If you have CIM activated within your Authorize.net Dashboard please select Yes from the CIM API Support drop down box.

You'll need an account with Authorize.net.
To login use the following link https://account.authorize.net/
Upon login click the Account (5) link at the top right of the page then click on the API Login ID and Transaction Key (6) link.
Upon the page refreshing you'll see the API Login ID (7). Because the transaction key is never stored where you can see it you'll have to create a new one. At the bottom of the current page answer the Secret Question and choose to Disable Old Transaction Key and click the Submit (8) button.
Upon the page refreshing you'll be presented with the Transaction Key (9). When clicking the Continue button you'll be transported back to the main settings page. If using Authorize.net for multiple stores you'll want to change the the Transaction Keys for all applications to the newest transaction key you create.
